There are many details which you can add into your Yahoo account profile. The information can be changed, edited as well as deleted within your profile settings. Let’s read out what else can be modified.
- Visit the Yahoo Login page on your web browser and provide the necessary details to Sign In to your account.
- Navigate to the profile picture of your account on the top-right corner and click on Account Info to open the details.
- Move the cursor of the mouse on Personal Info tab on left sidebar and edit any personal details which you wish to change. The user can edit name, gender, birthday and other details available on the page.
- Select the Account Security tab and change the secret keys, phone number, enable your 2-step verification and add an alternative email address for the recovery of password.
- Hit the button Change Password on the Account Security dashboard to change the secret keys. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter and change the secret keys.
- Select the option of Add Recovery Email Address to link an alternative email address with your Yahoo account in case you get locked out. Provide the email details and then select Send Verification Email button. Open the confirmation email that you receive and follow the instructions mentioned on the account.
- Move to Preferences tab and change the default location or language. Choose the Detect My Location button to find out the location by the Yahoo. Provide the additional languages in the Languages box and the select the Add button to add them.
